When we think of sustainability, the term can seem nebulous and difficult to define. It means different things to different actors throughout the supply chain. In its essence, however, one of the most important aspects for sustainability is that it sustains. Surely, it cannot be bought in an instant or solved over one harvest. It must survive both good times and difficult times, with all actors in the chain recognising the value in continuing.

We've continued to work closely with these partners, sometimes when it's been easy and sometimes when it's been difficult. The past 10 months have been challenging for everyone in the supply chain, and despite what people may think, the sharp end of that always comes at origin. Our relationships have proven more important than ever before, meaning that we can keep bringing the same coffee to our customers, year in, year out.
We hope to keep focusing on sustainability in its most basic of ways- to keep turning up on behalf of the partners we truly believe in.
